Premium Wagyu beef isn’t something that is perfected overnight, it takes time to achieve the once in a lifetime dining experience! “Highly prized for their rich flavor, these cattle produce arguably the finest beef in the world. Wagyu cattle's genetic predisposition yields a beef that contains a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids than typical beef.”*

Freezer beef is beef that you buy in bulk from a farmer or rancher and store at home in a deep freezer. Typically it is sold in quarter, half or whole shares. This means you are buying either a portion of, or the complete animal. The farmer or rancher then helps make arrangements to have the animal delivered and processed into beef at a local processing facility. You receive a variety of cuts purchasing in this manner because you are receiving a percentage of all of the cuts found on the animal. Our cuts include a variety of steaks, roasts, ground beef and specialty cuts, depending on the customer’s wishes. The main advantage to buying freezer beef is that you are able to save money versus buying those same products from the grocer, as well as the satisfaction in knowing you are buying local and conscientiously produced beef.  Generally, you will need 7 cubic feet of freezer space per quarter of beef. We recommend customers purchasing a half beef to have 14 cubic feet of freezer space, and can assure you that a full beef will fit in a 22 cubic foot deep freezer.

Animal Care

OUR CATTLE ARE NEVER GIVEN HORMONES, AND ARE ONLY GIVEN ANTIBIOTICS IF THEY BECOME SICK. The quality of life for these animals is what we care about most. We are hands on with the animals every day and care for them in the best and most humane way possible. Animal care is our top priority here, and we can assure you that our customers get the best product we can provide.

We sell our beef in apportionments of quarter, half, three quarters, or whole shares.  If only one quarter is ordered you will receive standard Golden Age Farm cuts and packaging. If a half or whole beef is ordered you can custom order specific cuts you would like included, based on availability from the processor. At the moment we do not offer delivery of the beef and we ask that our customers pick up their beef at the farm. We are happy to give farm tours to our customers and help them better understand our process and where their beef is raised!

Our price for the Wagyu Influenced beef is $750 per quarter. There will be a $300 down payment required to be added to the waiting list, with the remaining $450 required by the time of pick up. Processing is included, so this represents the total cost per quarter share of Wagyu Influenced beef.

Our price for the Fullblood Wagyu beef is $1750 a quarter. The down payment will be $500 with $1250 due at the time of pickup. Processing is included, so this represents the total cost per quarter share of Fullblood Wagyu beef.

Down payments are non-refundable. However, we guarantee that you will receive the beef you have placed a down payment on. Should something occur on our end and we are not able to fill your order, your down payment will be refunded.
